IFC Awards

  • Every year, the InterFraternity Council bestows a number of awards for premier members of the community who have gone above and beyond the normal call to service.  There are three awards given each year: The Greek Man of the Year, The Fraternity President of the Year, and The Recruitment Chair of the Year Award.

The Greek Man of the Year is an award given to the man who best embodies the values of the greek community: involvement in the UCLA community, leadership, and a strong commitment to brotherhood.

The Fraternity President of the Year award is an award given to one chapter president who has answered the call of his individual chapter.  This man has been invaluable in mediating chapter decisions both internally and externally by cultivating a strong relationship with the Fraternity and Sorority Relations office.

The Recruitment Chair of the Year Award is bestowed upon one chapter's recruitment chair who has created an innovative recruitment period.  This recruitment chair worked tirelessly with the office of fraternity and sorority relations and their national fraternity to create a value based recruitment.
